Pop up eatery Origami Squid is all about insanely delicious, proudly traditional authentic Japanese dishes of distinctive freshness and quality, simply prepared but beautifully presented. Our brief was to create a strong brand identity which captures and reflects this brand essence, then implement it across a range of enticing marketing materials and business stationery.
By combining elements of traditional Japanese art with strong vibrant colours, and contemporary ‘Origami’ detailing we created a ‘stand out from the crowd’ brand identity, unmistakably Japanese but with an eye catching modern twist.
The logo design shows how something as simple as a piece of paper, can through skill, innovation and passion be transformed into something dazzling, something with real character.
Origami Squid engages customers across a range of marketing channels therefore it was important that the brand designs were flexible and could be employed across a range of traditional media including, branded stationery, menus, packaging, signage and uniforms as well as online through website, banners and HTML campaigns.
